She was predeceased by : her husband Edward H. Lorenz; her daughter-in-law Margaret Lorenz (Peggy); her son Joseph E. Lorenz of Chester, NY.; and her siblings, Charlotte Hildebrandt and John Hildebrandt.

She is survived by : her daughter Susan F. Lorenz of Yaphank, NY; her granddaughters, Sara Shapiro Aronson, Deborah Shapiro DiPaola and Cynthia Lorenz Woerdeman; her great grandchildren, Jessica Arunson, Samantha Woerdeman and Nathan Woerdeman; and her nieces, Jean Callahan, Catherine Mendygraw and Ellen Gallagher.
