He was predeceased by: his parents, Theophile Parent and Aldea Parent (Perras); his spouse Shirley Recore; his siblings, John Paul (Louise), Leo (Laura), Raymond (Annete), Leon (Bernice Lagree) and Rita; and his brother-in-law Frank Labarre.

He is survived by: his children, Ann Marie Ryley (Kenneth) of Poughkeepsie, Brian Parent (Joann) of Myersville, MD and Carmen Damour (Richard) of Churubusco; his grandchildren, Shawn Poupore, Jessica Johnston, Brittany Dyer, Andrew, Nicholas Damour, Victoria Foirey, Timothy Damour, Joshua, Noah Ryley and Kaitlin Parent; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Jordan Johnson, Braydon, Brody Poupore, Dominic, Max, Lillian Fiorey, Caleb, Corbin Damour and Malia Ryley; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Patnode of Middleton, Barbara Patnode of Plattsburgh and Donald Recore of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
