She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Clark Hayes and Daniel Hayes (Ted); and her siblings, Priscilla DeMane, Bob Hayes and Sherri Hayes.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Wittjung; and her sister Jackie Gailor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home, Inc. (1604 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13208). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lucy's Church (432 Gifford St, Syracuse, NY 13204-3204).
The family requests donations in lieu of flowers be made to Mind Freedom International or St. Lucy's Church.
