He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Tracey and Hilda Tracey (Morey); and his pet Lilly. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Tracey (VanDerWater); his children, Cathy Tracey (Tom Landry), Lindsay Rheaume (Zachary), Ashley Tracey (Cole Shebat) and Spencer Tracey (Noelle); his grandchildren, Evelyn, Parker, Ethan, Noah and Merida; his siblings, Jack Tracey (Julie), Carol Serendicky (Paul) and Jerry Tracey (Debbie); his mother-in-law Lenora VanDerWater; and his sisters-in-law, Anna Marie Schaap, Linda Scherz, Karen Robinson (Robert), Betsy Fuller (Harold), Gerry VanDerWater and Judy Lonergan (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (409 S Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212-2899). A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the North Syracuse Cemetery (555 S Bay Rd, North Syracuse, NY 13212).
