We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, Dorothy M. Downing of Cicero, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Petroffski and Gertrude Petroffski (Switzer); and her husband Howard. She is survived by: her children, Howard Downing Jr. of Central Square and Connie Downing-Noel (Thomas Drumm) of Cicero; her brother John Petroffski of Chittenango; and her grandchildren, Nathan (Katera), Sabrina, Vanessa, Quinton and Colton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Krueger Funeral Home (2619 Brewerton Rd, Mattydale, NY 13211). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made to a Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool NY 13088.
