He is survived by: his wife Sally Fazio (Spillett); his children, Amy and John Fazio (Patches Zemotel); his grandchildren, Kaleigh, Ashley, Kyle Evans and Ellie Zemotel; his sister Annemarie Galloway (Jerry); his sisters-in-law, Susan Nicholson (John) and Jeanne Spillett; Gregg Evans. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (409 S Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John's memory to two organizations close to his heart: Francis House and St. Rose of Lima Church.
