With sadness, we share the passing of Thomas A. Witz of Cicero, New York. Thomas, born on May 6, 1941, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Witz and Rosemary Witz (King); his wife Patricia; and his brothers, Lawrence Jr., Edward, Arthur and John Witz.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Witz (Stacey), John Witz and Kathleen Witz-Sweeney; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Matthew, Jake, Kayla, Jessica, Erin, Megan and Keira; his great grandchildren, Cecilia and Matthew; and his brothers, Paul Witz (Anne) and James Witz (Deborah). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
