She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Christiana and Frances Christiana; her husband Gerald Schoonmaker; and her foster children, Kevin Raymond, Carl Dorr and Charlie Tester.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Malik (Kenneth) and Jeffrey Schoonmaker (Dawn); her sisters, Beverly Bayse and Joan Gruner (Thomas); and her foster children, Arthur Tester (Candi), Herbert Schmick (April), Thomas Schmick (Sonia), Barbara Kozykowski, Gerald Raymond, Ricky Raymond, Ronald Raymond (Rebekah), Susan VanBuren (David), Lucinda Mingey (William) and Al LaMarca. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harmony Baptist Church (1790 NY-211, Middletown, NY 10941).
