We announce the death of Floy C. Schmidt of Clarence Center, New York, who passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 90. Floy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Floy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ernest Schmidt; her children, Ernest A. (Tammy Hayes), Larry (late Cheryl), Gayle Abbott (Jeremy), David (Annette) and Ronald Schmidt (Debra); and her sister Joyce Harfman. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren.
