He was predeceased by: his parents, Arne Castren and Ida Castren; his siblings, Elaine Rowley (Howard) and Kay Fisher; and his significant other Kenneth Misa.
He is survived by: his siblings, Arnold Castren (Alice), Nancy Bonazelli (late Harry) and Dean Castren (Suzanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
