He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Van Allen (Bryan) of Claverack; his children, Lynn A. Van Allen of Canaan and Michael W. Van Allen of Claverack; his sister Elizabeth Zito of Ghent; his brother-in-law Joseph A. Bryan (Mary Lou) of Gloversville; and his grandsons, Liam A. Morgenstern and Thorin Brutsch-Mason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
