He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hess and Mary Ellen Hess (Terry); and his in-laws, Carl and Mary Ann Dobe. He is survived by: his wife Kristin Hess; his children, David Hess and Kelsey Hess (Ryan Linnertz); his siblings, Terry Haug (Brian), Kim Di Francisco (Pete), Cindy Hess-Berry (Bob), Sheila Hess and Janis Happick; and his aunt Maxine Dobe.
