Koehler of Clayton, New York, born in Batavia, New York, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Paul A. Thiebeau, Jr.. She is survived by : her mother Barbara J. MacKearnin Thiebeau of Clayton, NY; her former life partner James Koehler; her children, Chelsea M. Koehler (Victor Rodriguez) of Moyock, NC and Nicholas J. Koehler of Cheektowaga, NY; her grandson Santiago Rodriguez; her siblings, Lori Catanzarita of New Hartford, NY and Paul A. "Trey" Thiebeau III (Barbara Bologna) of Old Forge, NY; and her nephew Joseph Catanzarita of Hartford, CT. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to SPCA of Jefferson County, 25056 Water St. or Concordia Lutheran Church, 818 Arsenal St., both in Watertown, NY 13601.

“I’m so sorry for your loss, ive only known amy for about 2 years, she was someone who was very funny and always singing. She made sure that every customer she checked out knew how her grandson Santiago aka santi was the most adorable baby. We bonded over the fact that my sons name was Santana and how my family calls him Santi as well. Amy was definitely a character and I loved that about her because I was one too. We would laugh about how we both had rebel spirits. She will be missed R.I.P AMY”
