He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Goyer Burt and John Alden Burt; his wife Anne A. Yetto Burt; his grandson Nelson D. Bruno, Jr.; his great grandchild Julia Anne Burt; and his sisters, Myrtle Miller and Nancy Hannigan.
He is survived by: his children, Elmer Burt, Jr. (Lorene) and Maryjo (Nelson Bruno); and his brother James Burt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
