He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Herold and Mary Bok Herold; his wife Nancy Jane Moulton Herold; and his brother William. He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Higgins (Michael), Amy J. Keaveney (Sean) and Deborah L. Deyoe; his sibling Thomas Herold; his grandchildren, Katie Plume (Chris), Amity Buchanan (Johannes), Adam Higgins, Jennifer Deyoe and Jessica Deyoe; and his great grandchildren, Hudson, Declan and Molly Plume.
