He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin J. Davenport and Kathryn F. Davenport (Phillips); and his siblings, Donald (Rose), Harvey (Dolly), Virginia, Edwin (Virginia), Elizabeth (Henry), William (Jean) and Paul (Louise).

He is survived by: his wife Iris Green of Troy; his children, Edwin (Molly) of Milan, NY, Iris Worden (Joseph) of Clifton Park, NY, Gene (Shalini) of Kingsport, TN, Amy of Clifton Park, NY and James of San Francisco, CA; and his grandchildren, Kathryn, Joseph and Gwenyth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
