He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. James and Loretta Vincelette James; and his daughter Jennifer James. He is survived by: his wife Karen Campbell Maloney James; his children, Nicole Funk (Lawrence "Larry"), William "Bill" Maloney (Tracie), Brad Maloney (Angelina), Gary James, Jr. (Laurie) and Jay Maloney (Jamie); and his brother William James (Rose). He is also survived by grandchildren, 7 beloved great-grandchildren, and two nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Gary's love for the trades (and his firm belief that "kids these days should learn how to fix things") may contribute to a scholarship fund being established in his name at any branch of Broadview Federal Credit Union.
