He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Petronis and Stephen Petronis. He is survived by: his spouse Joseph J. Hanssen, Jr.; and his siblings, Joseph Petronis, Stephen Petronis, Eugene Petronis and Gertrude Vinett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
