She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Corun and Teresa Corun; and her husband Robert. She is survived by: her children, Tracie [Jonathan] Ruzicka, Scott [Jody] Mallen and Tara [Keith Kupferer] Mallen; her grandchildren, Prudence [Julie] DePew, Harrison Mallen Ruzicka, Andrew [Meredith] Mallen, Shane Mallen and Katherine Mallen Kupferer; and her great grandchildren, Madeleine and Elowen. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, Rivendell Theatre (https://rivendelltheatre.my.salesforce-sites.com) , the small professional theater her daughter Tara founded in Chicago in 1996.
