She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Commerford and Mary Commerford (Servatius); her siblings-in-law, Val Madis, Brian Nowicki and Margo Commerford; and her friends, Debbie Lane and JoAnne Chase.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Owens (Julie) of Rome, Gregory Owens (Jessie-Jo) of Canastota and Matthew Owens of Clinton; her siblings, Nancy Madis of Blossvale, Jean Nowicki of Rome and Gerald Commerford of Lewisburg, PA; her grandchildren, Sydney and Caleb; her siblings' children, Kristi Kallet (Tim), Heidi Rush (Matthew), Lisa Zamperetti (John), Bethany Rattray (Jason), Kelly Shenoda (Mark), Craig Commerford (Jennifer), Steven Nowicki, Kevin Nowicki (Julia) and Jason Nowicki (Melissa); and her friend Agata McCusker.
