She is survived by: her mother Marguerite Maloy Bankert; her husband Ed; her children, Gertrude "Trudy" Kernan Cox (Christopher Lawrence Cox) of Denver, CO and Edward "Ed" Wagner Kernan, Jr. (Amy Leigh West); her grandchildren, Hadyn, Caelen, Riley Cox, Henry, William and Patrick Kernan; and her siblings, Joan Kernan (David), Andrew Bankert (Gayle), Carol Carpentier, Richard Bankert (Liz), John Bankert (Ellen) and Thomas Bankert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
