He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gennings and Elizabeth Gennings Sr. (Airdrie); his siblings, Bette (Louie), James, Bill and Wally; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Elizabeth Burrows; his sons, Scott (Patty Gennings) and Kert (Cheryl Gennings); his grandchildren, Todd, Allie Gennings, Patrick Gennings, Meghan Gennings, Ashley, Trey Frahler, Alexa and Zachary Hurst; his great grandchildren, Maya, Jack Gennings, Chase, Maryn, Addison, Logan Frahler and Jullian Hurst; his sisters, Margery Gennings, Shirley Moote, Mary Lou Gennings and Diane Durley; and his in-laws, Douglas, Mary Burrows, Sandra Schmidt, Marlene Brown, Fred, Louise Burrows, Denise, Bill Poynter and Dwayne Burrows. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Clinton United Methodist Church.
