He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel W. Nester and Margaret Nester (Dillon); his former life partner Joyce Newman; his sisters, Shirley Hooson and Mary Jane Melie; and his nephew Danny Melie.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon Kelly Gilleece-Nester; his children, Christine (Michael Hughes), John (Catherine Nester), Colleen (Jody Thieme) and James Nester of North Creek; his stepchildren, Kelly, Ron Dobrzenski of Clinton, Shawn, Gina Gilleece, Erin and Art Mucitelli of Clark Mills; his grandchildren, Jessica Nester, Matt Bader, Valerie, Jack Lighthall, Cody, Carley Thieme, Cheyanna, Ryan Wolanin, Kelsey Hughes, Cassidy, Alex, Brady Dobrzenski, Julianna, Carter, Liam Gilleece, Abigail, Connor and Emma Mucitelli; and his great grandchildren, Madison Bader, Hailee, Hudson Lighthall, Ryder and Haddie Thieme. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
