It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce L. MacGregor of Clinton, New York, who passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lewis and Mary Louise Lewis (Diodato); and her brother Lawrence J. She is survived by: her husband Glen MacGregor; her children, Scott MacGregor of Clinton and Tracy; her son-in-law Hasan Alam of Chicago, IL; her granddaughters, Mayah Alam of Atlanta, GA and Aliya Alam of Chicago, IL; her sister Jude Lewis of Syracuse; her sister-in-law Betty O'Brien of Clinton; and her aunt Yolanda Rozyla. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (13 Marvin St, Clinton, NY 13323).

“It is with great sadness that the Hanner family says goodbye to our friend of many years, Joyce MacGregor. As a member of the Gannett flight group, we met the MacGregors in October of 1972. During that time thru company functions, and personal get togethers, we spent many, many hours together. Joyce and I particularly enjoyed the music of Neil Diamond. We wish to offer our deepest sympathy to Glenn, Scott, and Jude. God bless you Joyce with hopes of your being in heaven with your loved ones.”
