Shirley Swan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Swan of Clinton, New York, who passed away on March 4, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward C. Swan and Rhoda Swan (Bailey); her brother Paul Swan; her brother-in-law Rich Simon; and her cousin Dorothy Swan.

She is survived by: her brother John; her sister-in-law Kathleen Swan of Penfield; her sister Susan Simon of Clinton; her niece Aubrie Swan Sein (Andrew); her great-nephews, Evan and Connor; her nephew David Swan (JoAnna); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lilah and Cara; and her cousins, Marion Swan and Eric Bailey.

She was passionate about promoting humanitarian and social justice causes, including attending several women's rights marches in Washington DC, providing and delivering food donations to the community in Utica, and caring for her family members and friends.
