Richard Barnes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 82, Richard Barnes of Clyde, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Barnes and Helen Barnes (Schnabel); his grandson Scott Barnes; and his siblings, Carolyn of Montana, Eleanor Pearson, Beverly Dayton, Alvin, James and Robert Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Lee Barnes (Hartwell); his children, Stephanie Gatesman (Brian) and Jason Barnes (Heidi); his grandchildren, Sarah, Merrin, Daisy and Joe; and his siblings, Barbara Brown, Virginia Hicks and Steven Barnes (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
