He is survived by: his wife Martha Roden (Barringer); his children, Shellie Kelley (Garal), James Roden III (Tracy), Leon Roden (Diane) and Sara Courson (Bradley); and his siblings, Leanna Linski (Bill) and Michael Roden (Linda). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
