We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, at the age of 98, Frances Van Deusen (Cobleskill, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Proctor and Mary Parslow Proctor; her husband Richard Van Deusen; and her children, William Van Deusen and Jan Pendagast.
She is survived by: her children, Maxine Christman (Richard) and Warren Van Deusen (Patricia); her children-in-law, Linda Van Deusen and Donald Pendagast; her grandchildren, Amy Van Steele, Curt, Mary Hinkley, Mike, Caryn Anderson, Michael Van Deusen, Ryan Van Deusen, Nicole, Donald Pendagast, Zachary Stewart, Christopher Pendagast and Candice; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Joshua Mitchell, Brett, Kirsten Renee Anderson, Parker Van Deusen, Cody and Ryleigh Van Deusen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home (171 Elm St, Cobleskill, NY 12043). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
