He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Hisert (Pitcher) and Benjamin Hisert; and his siblings, William Hisert, Donald Hisert, Robert Hisert, Ethel Crouse and Dorothy Shults.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hisert (Silvestri); his children, Tonia Thompson-Grubham (Todd), Richard Hisert (Beth), Melissa Morlang (Craig), Jill Florio (Michael) and Tara Winter; and his grandchildren, Ella, Ava Grubham, Sophia Yen, Benjamin, Ryley Hisert, Dylan, Emma Morlang, Anthony, Alexus Gould, Adam and Gianna Winter.
