In the sacred silence of farewell, Gladys is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gladys' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Spaulding and Florence Spaulding (Clapper); and her siblings, Earl Spaulding, Jr., Dorothy Bever, LaGrand Spaulding and Virginia Rickard.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Barber (late Raymond) of Cobleskill and Larry Travis (Tracy) of Cobleskill; and her granddaughter Jessica Baligh (Mohamed). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Robert A. Guffin Funeral Home (108 Chapel St, Cobleskill, NY 12043). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
