In the sacred silence of farewell, Gladys is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Spaulding and Florence Spaulding (Clapper); and her siblings, Earl Spaulding, Jr., Dorothy Bever, LaGrand Spaulding and Virginia Rickard.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Barber (late Raymond) of Cobleskill and Larry Travis (Tracy) of Cobleskill; and her granddaughter Jessica Baligh (Mohamed). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
