It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mae Brown (Cobleskill, New York), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Barber and Helen Mae Barber (Evans); her husband Robert Brown, Sr.; her daughters, Debra James and Doreen "Dodi" Cechnicki; and her siblings, Beatrice, Betty and Calvert.

She is survived by : her brother Billy; her son Robert "Bob" Brown, Jr. (Lori Jagow) of East Worcester; her son-in-law Gene Cechnicki of Canajoharie; her grandchildren, Kim Mattice (Dan), Brian Cechnicki (Shannon), Robert Brown III (Katie) and Whitney Reed (Erich); her great grandchildren, Kara, Eric Mattice, Grayson, Camden Cechnicki and Dani Reed; and her siblings, Marion Crummy of Guilderland and Robert Barber of Ardsley.
