We announce the death of Katrina Lynn Padgett (Cobleskill, New York), who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 52. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Kenneth Merwin and Jane Ann Dufresne Merwin. She is survived by: her husband Christopher Padgett of Sharon Springs, NY; her sons, Corey Merwin (Jolita) of Schoharie, NY, Christopher "CJ" Padgett, Jr. (Courteney) of Sharon Springs, NY and Franklin Padgett (Tyler) of Sharon Springs, NY; her grandchildren, Marcus, Natalia, Remington, Brentley, Sophia, Jane, Hazel, Henry, Nah'la and Izzabella; and her siblings, Maria Roe (William) of Central Bridge, NY, Lisa Compton (Raymond) of Canajoharie, NY and Edward Merwin (Sanya) of Cobleskill, NY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
