Kenneth R. Mowrey Sr. Obituary
We bid farewell to Kenneth R. Mowrey Sr. of Cobleskill, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Kenneth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Kenneth may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kenneth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Mowrey and Catherine Mowrey (Hill). He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Mowrey (Yost); his children, Kenneth Mowrey, Jr. (Catherine) of Fonda and Tami Mowrey of Florida; his grandchildren, Ari and Sloan Mowrey; and his sisters, Joan Longritz of Fonda, Mary Lou Zambella of Johnstown and Kathy Herr of Durham, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cobleskill Eagles (87 Legion Dr, Cobleskill, NY 12043).
