He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar V. Lewis and Bertha Lewis (Moseman); his wife Doris Buck; and his daughter Karalee Manda. He is survived by: his friend Bill W.; his children, R. Sherwood Veith (Deborah) and Allison Parker (Roger); his grandchildren, Joshua Veith (Trista), Rachel Gillan (Jeffrey), Matthew Manda and Anastasia Manda; his great grandchildren, Harper Veith, Jules Veith and Ava Gillan; his brother Raymond Lewis (Lori); and his son-in-law Paul Manda. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home (171 Elm St, Cobleskill, NY 12043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
