He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Averill and Dorothy Averill; and his former wife Kathryn Averill. He is survived by: his wife Maria Averill; his children, Chantel (Jason Mrozik) and Aimee (Joseph Schlereth); his grandchildren, Elisa, Ava, Jacob, Elijah, Paige, Kylie (Mrozik) and Eben (Schlereth); his stepsons, Matthew and David Cartwright (Hyejin); his stepgrandchild Irina; and his brother Alaen Averill. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws and many beloved nieces and nephews.
