He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Irene Schumann and Rollin Edward Kropp of Poestenkill, NY.; his brother Robert Kropp (Margaret); and his pets, Tackeon, Bailey and Sadie.

He is survived by: his daughter Kirsten Kropp; his close friend Peter; his daughter-in-law Theresa Thibodeau; and his sister Dale (Kevin Kronau). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In his younger years he participated in long distance charity bicycle rides in Florida to raise money for AIDS research.
