He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Kane and Margaret Kennedy Kane; his brother William Kane; and his sister-in-law Lillian Kane. He is survived by: his wife Donna Malo Kane; his children, Kimberly A. Kozak (Steven) of Troy, Kevin M. Kane (Tina) of Cohoes and Katherine M. Howland (Nicholas) of Loudonville; his siblings, Gerald Kane (Patricia) of Clifton Park and Margaret "Peg" D'Angelico (late Tony) of Cohoes; his grandchildren, Drew M. Kane (Jordan), Zachary Howland (Nina), Jackson Howland, Trevor Kozak, Devan Kane (Dylan) and Alexi Howland (Lauren); and his great grandchildren, Navy Walton, Rune Walton, Gianna Howland and Rio.
