It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Doig of Cohoes, New York, who passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kent and Evelyn Alice Kent; her husband Thomas Alan Doig; and her brothers, Robert Kent and Albert Kent.
She is survived by: her son Graham Doig (Fran); her granddaughters, Alexandra "Nixie" Doig (Steven) and Madison Doig; her niece Janet Kent; her nephew Steven Kent; her great-nephews, Simon Kent and Joel Kent; and her great-niece Lorna Kent.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Marcellus United Methodist Church or the Marcellus Free Library, organizations that were dear to Joyce's heart.
