We bid farewell to John R. Ouimet of Cohoes, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 28, 2026 at the age of 89. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Ouimet of Montreal and Patricia Ouimet (Hetko) of Austria. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Marie Austin; his daughter Lisa LoGiudice (Joseph); his friend Ben Mirling of Saratoga Springs; and his godson Gary Mirling.
