She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilbur Newton and Emily Durocher Newton; and her brother John Newton. She is survived by : her siblings, Shirley Thibodeau of Cohoes and Mary Coons of Cohoes; her niece Victoria Thibodeau Scepkowski (Curt); her nephew Joseph Thibodeau (Tracy); her great-nephews, Sean Gratton (Maria) and Christopher Gentiluomo; and her great-niece Gabrielle Thibodeau.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Marra Funeral Home (246 Remsen St, Cohoes, NY 12047). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
