He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cavosie and Kathleen Scott Cavosie; his daughter Mary Anne; and his sibling Thomas Cavosie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne McAteer Cavosie; his children, Michael Cavosie (Jeannine) of Waterford, Timothy Cavosie of Waterford, Sheilah O'Brien (Jeff) of Waterford, Margaret (Bill) of Chatham, Nancy Huff (Tony), Maureen Mussey (Bret) of Waterford and Kathleen Mai (Steve) of Troy; his siblings, Richard Cavosie (Elizabeth) of Clifton Park and Kathleen Shover (Mark) of Cohoes; his sister-in-law Patricia Clarke of Waterford; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Nick, Jenna, Rachael, Maeghan, Andrew, Aidan, Alyssa, Jordan, Evan, Daniel, Casey and Justin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home (133 Broad St, Waterford, NY 12188). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Cemetery (79 St Agnes Hwy, Cohoes, NY 12047).
