He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kobasa and Mary Smalec Kobasa; and his brother John Kobasa. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pratt Kobasa; his daughters, Christine Wenzel (Michael) of East Berne, Karen Schulz (John) of Glastonbury, CT and Kathy Sefransky (Michael) of Saratoga Springs; his grandchildren, Shane, Joseph, Nathaniel, Sophie and Evan; and his nephew Scott Kobasa (Laurie).
