Tobi F. Applebaum Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tobi F. Applebaum of Cohoes, New York, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tobi F. Applebaum to pay them a last tribute.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Tobi had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Tobi may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadye Weinstein and Jack Weinstein; and her husband Irwin Applebaum. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Lessner Gortva, Jill Lessner Looker (Andy) and Laurie Lessner. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Independent Benevolent Cemetery (260 Fuller Rd, Albany, NY 12203).
