He is survived by: his former wife Ann Purcell Monast; his brother Ronald Monast (Gail); his children, Gerald Monast (Sharon), Mary Spadola (Tom), Michelle Monast, Kristie Monast, Nicolle Monast and William Monast (Patricia); and his daughter-in-law Jane Monast.
