He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Barbara Hines and Robert Gamble Roda. He is survived by: his siblings, JoAnn, Rick and Mary; his children, Cheryl, Jeff and Jay; and his grandchildren, Henry, Charlotte and Ella.

“To Chuck’s family. My heart aches for all of you. He meant a great deal to our family and we will miss our visits with him. Such a wonderful friend, He introduced me to four wheeling, fished together and just sat on the porch or at the kitchen table. How he loved Joe Indian Pond, its history and community.
