He is survived by : his children, Jamie Gernatt (Stacy) of Fairfax, VA, Jason Gernatt (Casey) of Jamestown, NY, Michael Gernatt Jr. (Stephanie) of Gowanda, NY, Beth Waterman (John) of Perrysburg, Lisa Gernatt (Bryan) of Collins and Amanda Gernatt (Matthew) of Irving; his siblings, Francis "Joe" Gernatt Jr. (Sandy) of Collins, James Gernatt (Jeanne) of Collins, Thomas Gernatt (Phylis) of Collins and Jeanne Keller of Gowanda; and his grandchildren, Ava, Gianna, Aiden, Brooklyn, Camden, Ethan, Maverick, Emmerson, Brayden, Logan, Colton, Mason, Lexi, Ella, Ally, Jase and Xander. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
