As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Betty may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Lanahan Jr. of Peter's Hospital; and her son John J. Lanahan. She is survived by: her children, Timothy (Patty) of Schenectady, Michael (Nicole) of Colonie, William (Rose) of Colonie, Dennis (Shannon) of Waterford, Mary Ranson (Lanahan) of Virginia and Kerry Hufland (Lanahan) of Colonie. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205).
