She was predeceased by: her parents, William Emerick and Ann Emerick; and her daughter Tricia Ann Hunter. She is survived by: her husband Kevin D. Hunter; her children, Michele Whitley (Brian) and Kevin Hunter (Lindsey); her siblings, Mary Ann (Butt), William Emerick (Barbara) and Ronald Emerick; and her grandchildren, Hunter, Liana, Declan, Braeden and Macie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home (490 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12209). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Our Light Catholic Church (1 Maria Dr, Albany, NY 12211). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (481 Rte 9W, Glenmont, NY 12077).
In accordance with Catherine's wishes, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
