He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo and Domenica Rao (Torre); his wife Anna Maria Motta; and his siblings, Carmelo, Giuseppe and Rosa.
He is survived by: his children, Marisa and Carmelo Charles; his granddaughters, Melissa (Colasessano), Kristina and Gabriella; and his nibling Arizona.
