He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford S. Thayer and Grace Ford Thayer; and his sister Blanche Matheson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Pippert Thayer; his daughters, April Crisafulli (Anthony) and Kristin Santoli (Michael Barton); his grandchildren, Anthony Crisafulli (Rebekah), Justin Crisafulli (Kayla Krempasky), Vienna Newton (Chase), Trey Santoli and Elijah Santoli; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas and Elena.
